Winter 2025 Family-to-Family Class

NAMI Hampton/Newport News is thrilled to announce our upcoming Family-to-Family Education Program! This free, 8-session course is specially designed for family members, significant others, and friends of individuals living with mental health conditions.

This program is more than an educational experience—it’s an opportunity to:

  • Gain valuable insights into mental health conditions
  • Build better communication skills
  • Find support among others who understand your journey

What Is Family-to-Family?

The NAMI Family-to-Family Education Program provides essential knowledge about mental health conditions, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression, and more.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Understand and support their loved ones
  • Manage their own well-being

The course is taught by trained instructors who have firsthand experience as family members of individuals living with mental illness. Thousands of families have described this program as “life-changing.”

  • Dates: 8 consecutive Thursdays, January 23 – March 14, 2025
  • Time: 6:00–8:30 p.m.
  • Location: Liberty Baptist Church, 1021 Big Bethel Rd, Hampton, VA, 23666, Room A128
