In a heartfelt and inspiring culmination of weeks of dedicated learning and mutual support, our NAMI affiliate proudly celebrated the graduation of the latest Family-to-Family class. This special event, held at Liberty Live Church, marked the end of an enriching journey for several family members who have committed to understanding and supporting their loved ones with mental illness.
The class, led by Evelyn and Geisha, provided participants with essential knowledge, practical skills, and a supportive community. Throughout the sessions, Evelyn and Geisha’s dedication and expertise helped provide an educational environment for participants to grow and learn.
The graduation event highlighted the achievements of our new graduates. A spread of catered food from Olive Garden, prepared by Evelyn, added to the event. Her thoughtful decor and efforts made the occasion memorable.
To add to the significance of the day, two members from our In Our Own Voice speaker team arrived and shared their personal stories in a presentation. These speeches offered valuable insights and emphasized the importance of advocacy and understanding in the mental health community.
We are proud of all the graduates and grateful to Evelyn, Geisha, and our In Our Own Voice speakers for making this program a success. As we look forward to future classes, we remain committed to providing essential resources, education, and support to families impacted by mental illness.
Congratulations to all our new Family-to-Family graduates! Your dedication and resilience inspire us all.
